What is Friends First?

The intention of the Friends First Foundation is to promote kindness, understanding, and compassion. Their mission is to build more connected communities and support the eradication of bullying. Friends First provides young and old with the tools to promote kindness through confidence, empathy, and empowerment. This foundation is a resource for those who seek to end bullying in their communities and in turn, foster a more tolerant and thoughtful world.

Friends First has partnered with Kids Help Phone. Their national partnership resulted in the launch of Friends First Counsellors in the Classroom, which holds sessions in select communities in Ontario and Manitoba. This program promotes the discussion of mental health and well-being, among young people in grades six through eight.

Why Friends First + Pure Balanxed? 

Mental health and wellness is at the core of Pure Balanxed. When we learned about Friends First and the beautiful work they are doing in our communities we knew we wanted to be part of it.
